Jennifer Chiongbian has been in this business since 2003, and is currently an SVP/ Associate Broker at Rutenberg Realty and is a part time working appraiser with Vanderbilt Appraisal. Her humble beginnings were born in Las Vegas, NV. It all began with her pastry career being cut short, after graduating from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. After enduring two hand surgeries, she was forced her to find an alternative career. “Now, I no longer create that perfect dessert for customers that makes them smile; but help them find that perfect home that still manages that same smile. After all, service is in my blood after working in it for 20 years.”

Having owned and operated bakery businesses from the Philippines to Las Vegas, Nevada. Jennifer is no stranger to hard work, working weekends and long hours, she says, “I learned to put my clients needs and wants above all else and do whatever it takes to get the job done right.” Being a trained pastry chef for over 10 years has also honed her skills with superior organization, fine attention to detail and razor sharp focus on her projects.

Jennifer understands that forging trust, a necessary element for a successful long-term relationship entails building and maintaining contact with clients. Jennifer adds, “Keeping in touch with my clients long after a sale or rental is closed and finding out how they are doing, is key to ensuring that my clients know that they have an advocate in the real estate industry now, and in the future; enabling me to be their Manhattan real estate broker for life.” She is an excellent listener who takes other people’s concerns to heart, in addition to being friendly, optimistic and upbeat.

As a young girl, Jennifer also played semi-professional tennis and trained for several years at Nick Bollettieri’s Tennis Academy in Florida. This experience taught discipline and focus at a very young age; including tenacity, strength and spirit to keep fighting for client’s goals.

Having lived in Europe, Asia and the U.S. has made Jennifer flexible and resourceful in whatever situation she comes across. She considers all her global experiences an important contributing factor to valuing diversity amongst her multi-cultural clientele.

She holds a BA and a minor in French studies from De La Salle University (Philippines); maintains a paralegal certification from the University of Las Vegas; has a Master’s in Criminal Justice and Law with Kaplan University, a notary public for NY State; and is a certified Assistant Appraiser in NY State. She is also a member of Rotary Club of Wall Street and an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute. In addition to English, she speaks French, Filipino, Italian, Spanish and German on various levels. Jennifer thrives off of the entrepreneurial spirit and freedom of having her own business; plus the flexibility to pursue her passion for adventure; and hobbies, such as scuba diving, travel, the international food scene and horseback riding.
